No fewer than 1,200 residents of Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State have benefited from the Phase III of the NASENI Sustainable Empowerment Programme of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure.
The intervention, unveiled in Kabo at the weekend, focused on clean energy solutions, skills development, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihood opportunities in line with the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Under the programme, beneficiaries received clean cooking stoves and solar home systems, while support packages comprising a bag of rice and N20,000 cash were also provided to beneficiaries.
