$1.5m scam: Police extradite wanted cyber fraud suspect to US

A South Africa-based Nigerian fraud suspect, Samuel Ugberease, has been extradited to the United States of America to face charges bordering on online romance scam, wire fraud, and related financial crimes.
 
Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), DCP Anthony Placid disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday.
He said the Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, extradited the suspect who is also known as “Putsammy”, “Putput”, and “Sammy”.
