19-year-old struck dead by thunder in Enugu community

By Alumona Ukwueze NSUKKA —-A 19-year-old man, Chukwujekwu Eyah, has reportedly been struck dead by thunder while sleeping with four other boys at his maternal grandmother’s residence.
The death occurred in Ogboli, Ugbaike, Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 1 a.m. on Monday, with Eyah dying in the incident while the four other boys sleeping on the same bed were left unharmed.
The police have yet to officially comment on the matter, but relations of the deceased confirmed his death, saying he was buried on Wednesday.
