Two women have been arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates Court over alleged theft of N1.2m. The defendants, Sule Joy, 32, and Omowumi Temilade, 22, were brought before the court yesterday, May 13, on a three-count charge bordering on stealing and breach of peace. The police prosecutor, ASP Olasunkanmi Bamikole, told the court that the offences were committed between August 2025 and May 10, 2026. Bamikole said the incidents occurred at Dalimore Junction in Ado-Ekiti, where both defendants were employed by the complainant as sales girls.
