The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has commended the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his role in getting the former governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, out of an unnamed place on the night of the 2024 governorship election in the state.
DAILY POST reports that the governor stated this on Friday, May 15, 2026, when the IGP paid a visit to him at the Government House in Benin City.
