Tunisia head coach, Herve Renard, has revealed that he will leave the role after the 2026 World Cup.
Renard has confirmed that his contract with the Carthage Eagles is just for the tournament.
There are currently no plans to extend the deal beyond June.
The Frenchman was brought in to replace Sabri Lamouchi, after Tunisia suffered a 5-0 thrashing in the hands of Belgium.
But Renard also oversaw a defeat to Japan on Saturday, which means they are eliminated after two matches.
“I’ve come for a World Cup mission,” Renard told ESPN on Monday.
“I have not signed beyond that.”
Tunisia’s last group game is against Netherlands on Thursday.
