2027: APM wants Tinubu to step aside, support Makinde

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has called on President Bola Tinubu to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race and support its candidate, Seyi Makinde.
In a statement issued on Friday, APM National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf, said the opposition party believes Tinubu has not demonstrated the capacity to provide effective leadership for Nigeria.
Yusuf alleged that Tinubu had “abdicated his official duties” to a group comprising family members, aides and other unelected persons.
