2027: Basiru calls Sowore ‘skit maker’ over Aso Rock request

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru, has described African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore as a “skit maker” following his request to use the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, for a campaign event ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Daily Sun had earlier reported that Sowore’s party asked President Bola Tinubu to approve the use of Aso Rock for the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council scheduled for November 11, 2026.
