2027: Ex-Ebonyi PDP chairman alleges attack by APC thugs, accuses police of supporting ruling party

A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, Ifeanyi Nworie, has alleged a nonchalent disposition by operatives of the State Police Command over the plight of party members and other opposition supporters in the state.
He made the allegations during a meeting with journalists on Wednesday, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Nworie, a former PDP chairman in the state, defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, soon after the 2023 general elections on personal grounds.
