2027: Ex-IGP Adamu has grassroots support to win Nasarawa governorship race — Lawmaker

Member representing Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Jacob Kudu, says former Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, will win the Nasarawa governorship seat in 2027. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ex-IGP is contesting under the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Kudu, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC), spoke to journalists on Thursday in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
