2027: Ex-Obi campaign officials dump him for Tinubu, launch Batified Obidients

Some former officials of Peter Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign organisation have declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, launching a political group, Batified Obidients, to mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election.
The former Labour Party campaign officials, who announced their decision at a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, accused the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council of poor management of personnel, failure to harness available expertise and inability to resolve internal disagreements.
