2027: NDC’s Gwarzo Absent From INEC’s Final Kano Governorship Candidates List

The governorship candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, is absent from the final list of candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The list, signed by INEC Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, contains 17 governorship candidates and their running mates representing various political parties contesting the election in the state. However, neither Gwarzo nor any candidate representing the NDC appears on the document.
