2027: North is 101% for Tinubu, APC campaign DG declares

• Says party will campaign on records, dismisses opposition’s AI-driven attacks
 
Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, has declared that northern Nigeria is “101 per cent” behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, expressing confidence that the ruling party will defeat its opponents in the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
Yari said the APC would base its campaign on the Tinubu administration’s record in infrastructure, the economy, healthcare, education and human capital development, rather than what he described as false information circulated by opposition parties using artificial intelligence (AI).
