2027 Polls: Police Assure INEC Staff, NYSC members Of Protection

The Nigeria Police Force has assured members of the National Youth Service Corps and other ad hoc personnel engaged by the Independent National Electoral Commission of adequate security during the 2027 general elections.

The police gave the assurance following recent abductions of corps members in parts of the country.

These incidents have renewed concerns over the safety of young Nigerians deployed for national assignments, including election duties, particularly as corps members constitute a significant part of INEC’s ad hoc workforce.
