21-year-old butcher stabs colleague’s to death in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 21-year-old butcher, Selim Ayodele, over the alleged stabbing to death of his 26-year-old colleague, Ibrahim Wasiu, following a disagreement at their workplace in Alagbole, Ogun State.

The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, October 18, 2026, after the two men had finished work at a cow meat-selling outlet.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the incident was reported at the Ajuwon Police Station at about 8 p.m., prompting a police response.
