Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been urged to remain calm after a mild earth tremor rattled parts of Abuja, with the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, directing the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency (NGSA) to provide him with hourly updates on the situation.
Alake, who is in Washington, D.C., United States, engaging American investors on joint venture proposals in Nigeria’s solid minerals sector, said there was no cause for panic, assuring residents that proactive measures had been put in place to safeguard lives and property.
