Accountability Lab urges FG, states to involve women in budget planning

Accountability Lab Nigeria has urged the Federal and state governments to involve women, civil society organisations and community members in budget planning to ensure that public spending addresses the needs of vulnerable groups.
The organisation warned that the exclusion of women from decisions on public expenditure could undermine efforts to address critical needs, including maternal healthcare, social protection, gender-based violence and support for informal businesses.
