Action Alliance protests exclusion of candidates from INEC list

The Kenneth Udeze-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the Action Alliance (AA) has protested the exclusion of its candidates for the 2027 elections from the list of candidates published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Udeze, in a statement on Sunday, said the exclusion of the party’s candidates by the electoral umpire is not only an affront to the AA but also allegedly an attack on the rule of law and internal party democracy.
He noted that INEC is aware of the decision of the Court of Appeal affirming him as the rightful leader of the party, stating that disregarding the list submitted by his leadership amounts to disobedience of the court.
