The Adamawa State Government has commenced its 2026 seasonal campaign to protect residents against malaria.
The exercise involves the administration of malaria medicines to children and the distribution of mosquito nets to households.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, during the flag-off of the programme on Thursday, said the 2026 Integrated Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) and Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Campaign aims to reduce the burden of malaria across the state.
