Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, on Wednesday led a government delegation on an inspection tour of communities affected by recent flooding in Yola North and Yola South Local Government Areas to assess the extent of the damage and coordinate government intervention.
The delegation included the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mohammed Suleiman; the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Alhaji Sadiq Mohammed; and other government officials responsible for disaster management and environmental protection.
