Adeleke sympathizes with flood victims, warns against dumping refuse on waterways

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed deep sympathy with residents and families affected by recent flooding across parts of the state, while issuing a strong warning against building structures or dumping refuse on natural waterways.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Wednesday, the governor expressed grave concern over the destruction of homes, businesses, and livelihoods.
He noted that Osun has recorded unusually heavy rainfall in recent weeks, placing immense pressure on drainage channels and rivers statewide.
