After weeks of blackout, relief power returns to Bida communities

Residents of several communities in Bida Local Government Area of Niger State have expressed relief following the gradual restoration of electricity supply after weeks of outage that disrupted economic and social activities.
The affected communities, including Darachita, Bangaie, Low Cost, Kobo Area, Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Quarters, Polytechnic Layout and Cabs Layout, had endured prolonged darkness before repair works commenced on the Barrack Feeders network.
The restoration followed the arrival of critical materials, including poles and cables, supplied by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), enabling technicians to begin repairs and reconnection of affected lines...
