As Akwa Ibom State government intensified efforts to launch no fewer than 50 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) – powered buses to ease the transportation burden on the people, Nsik Oil & Gas Company Limited has taken delivery of the first consignment of equipment for its 10 million standard cubic feet per day CNG Mother Station at Uquo Isi Edoho community in Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking to LEADERSHIP, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Aniekan Umanah, has stated that government was constraint to launch the CNG buses on October 1, because of non completion of the gas filling stations in parts of the State.
