Amnesty condemns brutal killing of Islamic cleric in Katsina

Amnesty International has strongly condemned the brutal killing of renowned Islamic preacher, Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka in Katsina State .
In a Monday statement posted on Facebook , Amnesty said the cleric was killed by gunmen on motorbikes as he stepped out of his house in Dutsin-Ma to go for his usual evening preaching.
“The Nigerian authorities must immediately and effectively investigate the incident and ensure that those suspected of being responsible are brought to justice,” Amnesty said.
