Anambra didn’t show interest in World Bank loan programme – Soludo

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has said that the state government did not express interest in the 2024 World Bank Hope Governance Loan programme.
Soludo, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, said that the World Bank itself had confirmed that Anambra did not express interest to participate in its loan programme contrary to “misleading media reports alleging that the State was denied the World Bank loan facility due to poor performance benchmarks.”
