The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC PCC) on Sunday traded barbs over comments attributed to former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on his inability to afford medication for his late mother.
Amaechi, a former two-term Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, two-term Governor of Rivers State and two-term Minister, is currently the vice-presidential candidate of the ADC.
Amaechi, on a television programme, said his mother died because he could not afford her medication.
