APC members defect to APM in Ogbomoso, cite inequality, lack of accountability

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State has recorded a fresh boost ahead of the 2027 general elections, following the defection of several All Progressives Congress (APC) members and political leaders to the party.
The defection, which took place on Tuesday, reportedly involved thousands of the APC members led by four former councillors loyal to Boye Nation political movement, who formally announced their movement into the APM.
