APC wins all 17 chairmanship seats in Yobe LG elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all 17 chairmanship seats in the local government elections held in Yobe State on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Announcing the results at the Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission (YOSIEC) headquarters in Damaturu on Sunday, the chairman of the Commission, Dr Ibrahim Mohammad Yabani, described the election as hitch-free.
