ARISE News drops Anthony Kila over alleged academic results falsification

ARISE News has announced the immediate and indefinite exclusion of political analyst Anthony Kila from its television network following allegations that he falsified his academic credentials.
In a disclaimer issued by its Editorial Board and read during its morning show, the news channel said the decision followed an investigative report by Premium Times concerning Kila’s academic qualifications.
The organisation said it contacted Kila on October 3, 2026, to give him an opportunity to respond to the allegations.
According to ARISE News, Kila requested additional time to respond but had yet to provide an explanation 10 days after the initial contact.
