Army arrests suspected terror logistics operatives in Yobe

Troops of Sector 2 Operation HADIN KAI have arrested two suspected logistics operatives linked to terrorists operating in the North-East during an operation in Damaturu, Yobe State.
In a post shared on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama, security sources disclosed that the suspects were apprehended at about 12:05 p.m. on May 11, 2026, following intelligence gathered through communication intercepts connected to the earlier arrest of a repentant member of the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP.
Sources told Makama that the suspects were arrested in Damaturu town, the headquarters of Damaturu Local Government Area of Yobe State.
