Arsenal’s Resilience Can Inspire Nigeria’s Renewal, Says Atiku

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has said the resilience associated with English football club Arsenal could inspire Nigeria’s quest for national renewal and a brighter future.
Atiku, represented by Senator Dino Melaye, spoke at the inauguration of Arsenal Fans Club Nigeria in Abuja, where he urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the club’s fighting spirit in overcoming the country’s challenges.
He likened the country’s struggles to the biblical promise that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
“By the grace of God, very soon, Nigerians will leave the wilderness and enter the Promised Land,” he said.
