“Aso Rock Belongs To Nigerians, Not APC” — Sowore Clarifies His Letter To Tinubu

The African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has explained why his party applied to use Aso Rock for the inauguration of his presidential campaign council, insisting that opposition parties should enjoy the same privileges as the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sowore, who spoke at an event organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) on Thursday, said the application was based on his belief that opposition parties should have equal access to facilities used by the ruling party for political activities.
According to him, the AAC applied to use Aso Rock because the APC had used the presidential seat of power for party events.
