Assailants Stab Gombe Woman To Death, Police Arrest 2 Suspects

Suspected armed assailants have stabbed Aishatu Salisu, a mother of five, to death during an attempt to snatch her mobile phone at her residence in Wuro Shie Quarters, Gombe .
The incident occurred in the wee hours, about 4:35 am on Saturday, when the suspects, armed with machetes and cutlasses, reportedly invaded the residence of Inspector Salisu Waziri, a police officer attached to the Safer Highway Patrol.
