The Kaduna State University (KASU) has refuted claims by the Kaduna State University branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU-KASU) that more than 200 academic staff have left the institution due to poor conditions of service.
KASU described the assertion as misleading and not reflective of the realities within the university.
The clarification follows a recent press conference by ASUU-KASU in which the union issued a two-week ultimatum to the Kaduna State Government over the implementation of the 2025 FGN-ASUU Agreement and other staff welfare concerns.
