Lecturers at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), under the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), have commenced a total and indefinite strike over the non-implementation of the 2025 Federal Government-ASUU agreement and other unresolved issues.
The NSUK branch announced the industrial action on Monday following a branch congress where members deliberated on the outstanding issues affecting academic staff.
In a statement signed by the branch Chairperson, Zubairu Loko, the union said it had exhausted several avenues of dialogue with relevant authorities without securing satisfactory implementation of the agreement.
