Dozens of Bandits invaded a secondary school in Iluke, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, killing the vice principal and two others in an attempt to abduct students.
According to an eyewitness account, the bandits arrived on the morning of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in an apparent attempt to abduct students writing their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), shooting sporadically.
Reports indicate that the major target of the attack was UBE Iluke Bunu, where students were sitting for their WAEC examination at the time of the invasion.
