Bauchi: Police arrest 19-year-old woman for allegedly poisoning husband

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 19-year-old housewife, Aisha Musa, 40 days after her wedding, for allegedly attempting to murder her husband by poisoning his food in Gwamma Village, Bauchi Local Government Area.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Habib, the incident occurred on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, about 3:15pm.
The suspect, who had reportedly been married for about 40 days, allegedly introduced a poisonous substance into her husband’s meal.
