Becoming Peter Obi’s running mate won’t help your 2031 ambition – APC chieftain to Kwankwaso

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Goriola Yakub, has said the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso’s decision to pitch his tent with Peter Obi won’t help his ambition in 2031.
Yakub suggested that becoming Obi’s running mate could turn out to be Kwankwaso’s worst political decision.
In an interview with Trust TV, the APC chieftain said: “Incidentally in 2022, Kwankwaso was explaining why himself as a Northerner can’t be a running mate to Peter Obi.
