The All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Kwande and Ushongo Local Government Areas of Benue State protested what they described as an attempt to replace the winner of the party’s House of Representatives primary election with another aspirant.
The peaceful protest, saw party faithful call on the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to uphold the outcome of the May 16 primary by recognising Prof. Iornem Kohol as the party’s candidate for the Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.
