Bills Open New Highmark Stadium With 41-31 Win Over Lions

The Buffalo Bills opened their new Highmark Stadium with a 41-31 victory over the Detroit Lions, scoring six touchdowns in their home opener.
After a 36-31 season-opening win at the Houston Texans, the Bills produced another impressive performance at their new home. The stadium was built next to their old home at a cost of $2.2bn (£1.6bn).
Quarterback Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and rushed for two more. The Bills, among the favourites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, raced into a 21-0 lead.
Allen barged into the end zone and found Joshua Palmer for a 43-yard touchdown before Dawson Knox scored early in the second quarter.
