Boko Haram has abducted a yet to be ascertained number of students from two schools in a remote community in Borno State.
According to some residents in the villages around the area, early on Friday, a gang of armed men believed to be Boko Haram fighters, numbering about 30, rode on motorcycles to Mussa, a remote community near Sambisa forest, a known terrorists’ enclave.
“They came in a large number of about 30 motorcycles and rode to the primary and junior secondary school in our community shooting to scare people away,” John Musa, who hails from the town but lives in Maiduguri, told Saturday Sun.
