Borno PWDs Laud Zulum For Pushing Disability Rights Bill To Assembly

Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) under the auspicies of Joint National Association of Persons Living with Disabilities ( JNAPWD ) , Borno State chapter, have commended Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for forwarding the Borno State Disability Rights Bill to the State House of Assembly for passage. The Chairman of JNAPWD in the State, Mallam Mustapha, who made the commendation when they visited the state’s Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof Usman Tar, disclosed that the bill has successfully scaled its second reading and is expected to complete the remaining legislative processes before being passed into law and assented to.
