Broken Trust, Unmet Promises Led To My APC Resignation — Iyabo Obasanjo

Former senator representing Ogun Central,  Iyabo Obasanjo , has explained that her decision to resign from the All Progressives Congress (APC) was prompted by disappointment over unfulfilled promises made by the party’s consensus governorship candidate in Ogun State.
Iyabo made the disclosure while speaking on The Morayo Show on Thursday, saying she could no longer remain in a political platform where commitments made to her and her supporters were not honoured.
“I resigned from the APC because I was upset that the consensus candidate failed to keep the promises he made to me and my followers,” she said.
