Six more persons have been rescued alive from the rubble of the storey building that collapsed in the Satellite Town area of Lagos State on Thursday.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, LSFRS, received a distress call regarding the incident at 11:37 a.m.
According to the agency, the building collapsed on Old Ojo Road, by Alakija Bus Stop, off the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in Satellite Town, Lagos.
Emergency responders from the Ijegun-Egba Fire Station were immediately deployed to the scene and arrived at 11:49 a.m. to begin rescue operations.
