Morocco and Senegal will have to wait longer for a verdict in the legal dispute over the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) held a hearing involving the two countries and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Thursday.
The hearing began at about 9:30am and was expected to continue until between 3pm and 4pm, with Morocco, Senegal and CAF all represented by lawyers.
However, CAS Director General Matthieu Reeb has ruled out an immediate decision, saying the tribunal would need time to consider the arguments and prepare its ruling.
