The Chinese Government, has unveiled a five-year plan to improve the accessibility, affordability and sustainability of its healthcare security system.
The plan, according to Xinhua News Agency, covered more than 1.3 billion people.
The roadmap which was issued by the National Healthcare Security Administration, sets targets for the 2026-2030 period, including making basic medical insurance services more accessible, strengthening the security of insurance funds and improving the efficiency of fund use.
