ABUJA โ Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, has said the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project has moved beyond Epe in Lagos State and is currently ongoing across five states.
Umahi stated this in response to concerns raised by former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, that the project might not progress beyond Epe.
The minister spoke during an inspection of Section 4B of the highway in Ondo State, according to a statement issued on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Francis Nwaze.
He said, โThe Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is already on. We have sailed past Lagos that my brother Donald Duke talked about.
