Cubana Chief Priest loses bid for APC reps ticket in Imo

Cubana Chief Priest (Pascal Okechukwu), has lost the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for a seat in the House of Representatives. 
Cubana was vying for APC’s ticket for Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
However, he lost to Canice More Nwachukwu, the incumbent for the constituency. Nwachukwu is serving his second term.
Recall that Cubana Chief Priest has been very supportive of the current government and APC.
Also, he was  appointed  as Imo State director of City Boy Movement, CBM, the youth-focused support group for Tinubu’s re-election.
