Defections: NDC Accuses APC Of Inducement, Announces Fresh Primaries

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of offering money, political appointments and other material incentives to induce some of its candidates to defect to the ruling party.
The NDC National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2026, the party will conduct fresh primaries to fill the vacancies created by the defection of some of its candidates to the APC.
