Delta approves permanent 13th-month salary for civil servants

To recruit teachers, equip technical colleges

The Delta State Executive Council has approved the institutionalisation of the 13th-month salary for civil servants as part of measures to strengthen workers’ welfare.
The Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration also approved the recruitment of more teachers for public secondary schools and the equipping of technical colleges to improve education in the state.
The State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this after the Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
